The Book Junkie Reads . . . Draw Play . . .
Super jock not so hot with academics. Of course the star player had to play so a tutor it was. But this was one tutor that Jake was not expecting. This was the tutor that he needed to keep his distance from. Claire was more than he bargained for.
Claire did not like jock with emphasis on football players. So when she gets the hot jock to tutor things kinda start to roll.
Hot sex, vast characters, scars, secrets, back-biting. The pacing was good and steady. The read was what I would expect of a new adult college setting. The cattiness the harshness of so-called friends. Wow! I truly cringed with some of the comments and how things were said. This took me back to being in school and not college. I'm talking high school.
Claire can’t stand football
players, and Jake is just as cocky and arrogant as the worst of them. He’s also
impossibly sexy. Despite their frequent arguments, she starts to see another
side to him and finds him increasingly hard to resist.
When they finally surrender, the
heat they generate could melt the North Pole but is Jake really willing to
sacrifice his image for Claire? Or will she be left on the sidelines with a
broken heart?
Draw
Play is a very steamy standalone, full-length football sports romance novel.
It’s only recommended for audiences 18+. No cheating. No cliffhangers.
Guaranteed HEA.
