From The Book Junkie Reads . . . Truth (Night Calls, #3.5) . . .
Erotic romance with a bit of turmoil mixed in. This may be a romance but it has its up and down in the relationship. That's what makes for the bond to grow and overcome. Poppy and Felix find that their rough patch has come and truth between them will be what gets them to the other side of it all. In a relationship that comes together out of a heated passion, there is bound to be room for doubts and trust issues.
I thought this was a needed piece to add more to Felix and Poppy's relationship. Their relationship was on that has been touched upon in the previous books. I would sat that this was a quickie read but some of the realism was missing in a few spots. Poppy was a bit to forgiving and did not delve enough into the why, when, where, how, details of it all and how to prevent it from occurring again in the future.

BLURB
A Night
Calls Novella Following his divorce, Felix Sinclair vowed to never commit to a
woman again…until he washed up on Poppy Montgomery’s doorstep, proving that
sometimes taking the road less traveled pays off. One night of passion
promised a lifetime of happiness, but when Felix begins to grow distant,
disappearing for long periods of time without an explanation, Poppy begins to
suspect that Felix may not be as committed to her as he claims. They say
the hardest part of love is trusting your heart to someone else, but Poppy is
about to find out that sometimes the hardest part may be letting go.
Author’s Note: Please
note that while TRUST can be read as a standalone, it is a
continuation of Poppy and Felix’s story from STRANDED, book #1 in the Night
Calls series.
