The Book Junkie Reads . . . Pirates & Petticoats Series #1 - 3 . . .
I had me some fun voyaging back to the early 1800s for some high seas mishaps, romance, and a little adventure. Each of the three books in this series gave me a little something different to enjoy. I was taken back to my early reading years of the historical romance that provided swash buckling heroes and bodice ripping moments.
Hart's Desire - Our hero and heroine were in the midst of escaping an arranged marriage, deathbed confessions/secrets, deception, suspense, and romance after the heated/hatred start to things. Keelan was not your ordinary miss she did not wait around for her problems to be solved. She was spirited. Her first meeting with Captian Hart was not all that it could have been but may have lead them to much more. Captain Landon Hart was a rake with a past he wanted to keep guarded. Keelan was the key to opening that past and old hurts.
Hart's Passion - Action. Adventure. Pirates. Kidnappings. Revenge. Secrets. Truth. Even with the possibility of having forever together Keelan wanted to know who she really was. With her elopement upcoming, things do not go quite as planned. Some pirates have plans to make things much more difficult for them to pull off. Keelan being who she was did not find it beneficial to be overly cooperative. Landon wanting to protect her may lose more than just his future.
Hart's Reward - How many men would say that a woman was a reward? And truly mean what he was saying. This time around Keelan has to do the work. She has to work to help her man remember things that drew them together and keep them that way. With the smuggling, rescue, and other business and such going on. The adventure has more life with the accident that could claim it all from them. Keelan entered the battle of her love life. Landon does not want her around. She has to get around that in some way. This was the test that was needed to cement their bond.

and ghost stories about pirates from the Outer Banks. She listens to Celtic
music while she writes. When life gets too serious, she reads Calvin and Hobbes

children and two rambunctious dogs, Indiana and Luke, who are named after her
two favorite action heroes. Descended
from a family of cooks and gourmet chefs, Chloe is a true foodie and along with
working for fortune 500 companies in marketing and teaching MBA students
strategic marketing, she also ran a gourmet cookie company. Cooking for a crowd
