I had so much fun with this light, easy, quick read. Allison Dare
was used to life moving in a specific order and on a specific schedule. Then
life gives her a wake-up call and tells her that life will not continue on
dictate. Mack has life handed to him every day dealing with his own situation,
but finds the time to give back to the community by providing dog training and
developing a program for dogs and returning military.
These
two veterans come together for the cause of training a puppy and maybe for
Allison to train her life to civilian. There develops a connection between the
two. Both dogs (Sir Precious and Molly) and the human counterparts. I was
understanding the sex. I could get the casualness of the hook-ups, but the
almost insta need more felt a bit rush. I was getting the whole time that
neither wanted anything more than casual. I can’t recall even inner dialogue of
wanting more.
I
did enjoy the read and look forward to seeing more from Ms. Coffey
