Vampire, werewolf, and a human. There is more behind the setting of these scenes than one could image. Claudia is a vampire and an author with a publishing company. She needs to do some promotional work but does not wish to be the face the public sees. This is where Rowan comes in.
Rowan is an actress and this for her is a part of a lifetime. Ethan is setting out to destroy Claudia but not by choice. In the midst of the deceptions going on Ethan and Rowan/Claudia become more than either of them would have guest. Along the way we revisit a character or two from Bk1 of the Press Legacy and meets some new one(s).
I believe that Daye did a good job building her paranormal world and it works for the context of the books (Press Legacy) she has set them in.
